Load a music folder to start

The On Air fader is a fader start: pull it down and the item fades out while the log waits; push it up and the next item starts. A fader of your console or MIDI controller learned as “Fader start” moves it too.

Drive the air from your console and controllers: fader start, Start, Next, Stop and the carts. Choose a function, click “Learn”, then move the fader or press the button.

Fader start: fader up starts the next item, fader down fades it out and the log waits. With Live assist (On Air), each item plays to its end and waits for its start. A GPIO box sends one line per change: “3 1” when input 3 closes, “3 0” when it opens. Outputs: LiberUnda sends “OUT 10 1” and “OUT 10 0” to the box (a lamp or a relay on output 10), or a MIDI note to light a controller’s button.

What is on air goes, as it changes, to a text file (website, visuals), to the RDS encoder of your FM transmitter and to your DAB+ encoder.

Songs show the song text, everything else the station text: {artist}, {title} and {station} are replaced. RDS: RadioText (64 characters) and station name; most encoders take text commands (see your encoder's manual), the others UECP. DAB+: the dynamic label (DLS, 128 characters) with DL Plus tags for the artist and the title, and the slideshow folder, in the format read by open-source PAD encoders such as ODR-PadEnc.

The stream carries exactly what goes on air: the log, the carts and the crossfades. The title on air is sent to the server for your listeners' players. Without a sound card (liberunda studio --no-audio), LiberUnda runs as a 24/7 web radio.
